Section titled “Who maintains it”This encyclopedia is maintained by the Medical Humanities Hub (医文汇) encyclopedia team. It is the reference subdomain of the main site.
Regarding the journal Artificial Intelligence and Digital Medical Humanities (AIDMH): the two are operated by the same body but serve different functions. AIDMH is responsible for academic review and formal publication; this encyclopedia is responsible for public-facing definitions and ongoing revision. It does not perform peer review.
Editorial principles
Section titled “Editorial principles”- Sources first. Every statement either has a checkable source or is explicitly marked as an editorial judgement.
- Present the disagreement. Where the scholarship is contested, competing positions are presented with attribution rather than resolved into a single conclusion.
- Blank space beats guessing. Details that cannot be verified are omitted rather than obscured with vague wording.
- A human signs off. AI assists with drafting and proofreading; final responsibility rests with the editor.
