What is included
Section titled “What is included”Four categories of entry:
- Concepts — foundational terms such as medical humanities and social prescribing
- Methods — operational practices such as narrative medicine
- People — scholars and practitioners who have shaped the field
- Organisations and works (planned) — societies, journals and key literature
Institution rankings, outcome data and individual clinical advice are out of scope.
How it is maintained
Section titled “How it is maintained”All content lives as plain text files in a version-controlled repository. Because of this:
- Every change to an entry is attributable and reversible
- The history of any entry can be traced
- Deployment happens automatically, with no manual step

Section titled “Citation and licence”Entries are published under CC BY-NC 4.0: attribution-based citation and non-commercial reuse are permitted; commercial use requires separate permission.
When citing, please give the entry title, the version date and a link to the source.
